It would be very nice to be able to transclude posts and/or forums into other pages!
I have in mind being able to put "Announcements" on another page of the wiki, taken from an announcements forum.
I will look into doing this myself.

Sounds interesting...
If you are succesfull, can you share your code here, so AWC can possibly use and intergrate into the main extension, as part of the collective community effort.
Many hands makes light work.

This is true
Bsmithme, a "thread tag" has been talked about, but never whent too far.
You can do just the opisite as you are asking.
You can "suck" in wiki page and embed it into your annoucnemt thread one of two ways.
One with the <wiki>wiki page</wiki> forums wiki tag (which will keep all the wiki edit options) or you can use wiki syntax {:wiki page}.
Like HTPC said, if you get it working and feel like sharing, that would be great.

It seems to me that creating a simple tag that calls the forum's display function would do the trick.
I've been trying this but with no success. I am not sure AWC which function is the function that actually displays a forum.
