I can log into this (vBulletin) part of AWC's spaces, but the same username (7632416) and password does not work for Forum Extension test wiki or other AWC spaces powered by MediaWiki.
Trying to log in to the Forum Extension test wiki or any other of AWC's spaces powered by MediaWiki cause MediaWiki components to reject the username. Clicking on "create new account" or "email password" takes me back to the vBulletin part of AWC's spaces which says I'm already registered as 7632416, and offers to reset my password. If I allow the vBulletin interface to resent my password, that new password will not be recognized by the MediaWiki portions of AWC's spaces, and the cycle starts again.
Any ideas?
I installed an earlier version of AWC Forum Extension at www.dishiwiki.com, and it worked okay but exhibited some known bugs. The upgrade process to version 2.3.3 went well except for the new bugs that are now known and apparently being worked on, such as incorrect URLs in the <forum_info> tag, missing keys in the language file (name of forum), etc.
Although I like your AWC Forum Extension and want to stick with it, and I congratulate you on your product and thank you for the work that you are doing so that we benefit from it, I hate smilies and do not wish them to be available to users, but I cannot find that switch.
I've posted those comments here knowing that this is not the right place, but I find it difficult to know where to comment about what. Your good products desevere a better, more unified and clear infrastructure to navigate around in. But I know these things take time and are always changing, just like my wiki.
But do you have any thoughts about the username/password incompatibility? I guess I should choose a new username and pasword and try again. I will report back.
Brian

Funny, the other night i was going through referral logs from my sites c-pannal stats and came across a referral from your site
As with the login, not sure.
I installed something a week ago and found out the other night it was causing problems with the login and registration here. Im pretty sure its fixed now.
For the smilies, sorry, there is no option to turn them off.
I will add this right now and it will be avaible in the next release which might be in the next week or so, just need to work on a few things with the new PM system. And as you say you do not like the smiles... it has triggered an idea to also add an option in the ACP for allowing or not allowing PM's... who knows, maybe some admins will not like that idea.
Thanks for your support and input.

| Just added the smilies option to the ACP
If you set the option to 'No' Display Smiles, then the smilies above the posting box will not be displayed and smiles will not be converted with-in the posts.
