I started to setup a different site with the AWC forum extension -- and ran across a small snag. I forgot to change the /avatars folder to 777 before the upload. Anyway, the message came up and said the /path/to was non-existent. Actually, that path statement was wrong. Once I changed /path/to/extensions/awc/forums/images/avatars then all was well.
I hope this is making sense.

Where did you have to change the /path/to/extensions/awc/forums/images/avatars/
Was it in the code you made the change or in the language text settings ?
If you did not make the change, you could not upload the avatar ?
