Your not using the most recent version of the beta or a file was missed while uploading to your site.
I see this site now says 2.5.3. Did I miss the link somewhere for the latest? I'm still on 2.5.2.
Hello LPH.
The main post in this thread has been updated with the most recent changes along with most recent download (download is at the bottom).

Does the same, when i put another Forum ID like 14 in yours and in the one i have they show the new ones in that forum
Just go to your AdminCP and enter 0 for the forum ID's and use this code <forum_info>
showall=true
</forum_info>That change as been talked about a few times in this thread.
The following....
<forum_info id=##>
showall=true
</forum_info> That code is a new option, obviously if a person is entering a forum ID in the thread tag, there is no reason for the thread tag to look at the AdminCP setting, it will use the tags ID. This is a custom option someone asked for.

Glad you have the forum tag working.
You got me about the last column, theres no AdminCP setting... im working on the search file now and there will be a new download in a but, maybe something magical will fix it ?
When you update, you still have to run the update installer... just peeked at your site and i see you haven't done that yet (theres a new link add, which you don't have), maybe that will do something...

Sorry i did run it (Tried IE that did not work) Then tried Firefox, and this is what the update said, which it did again when i tried it twice:
Added: ALTER TABLE lmaawc_f_mems DROP PRIMARY KEY;
Added: ALTER TABLE lmaawc_f_mems ADD PRIMARY KEY(m_ID);
I keep thinking, i have only 2 faults still oustanding, one is no time shown in a post and this one, with The recent, my posts and my threads not showing a forum column, could this be all tied into a problem with the skin?

If it will help, here is a firebug copy of the first 2 posts on "My threads":

Updated 2.4.2 to 2.5.3 (latest download), /includes were not included in the package, so I used those 2 files from a previous 2.5.x release.
In the config.php
define('awcs_forum_convert_latin', true);
the forum will not show anything, and the wiki dies with an "inside problem"
define('awcs_forum_convert_latin', false);
forum can be seen, but with a bad char set.

Don't know Krillmeed, maybe your better off uninstalling the forum period and not using it at all or using an older version.
Just peeked at the following sites and unless im misunderstanding you, all three of these are working and displaying the last column.

Freggern is using a slightly dated version of 2.5.3 (or didnt run the update script) because he (like you) does not have the new "Todays Posts" in the standard forum menu, the menu that is displayed in the forum itself, not the menu displayed in the wiki navigation menu, but the old menu displayed at the top of all the forum pages.

Hello there Tester
Quote:Tester Mar 4th 1:18 pmUpdated 2.4.2 to 2.5.3 (latest download), /includes were not included in the package, so I used those 2 files from a previous 2.5.x release. That folder is no longer needed (this is talked about at the bottom of the main post in this thread).
The only files and folder which are needed are in the /extension/awc/forums/
You don't have to change anything, just upload the /extensions/ folder, that will take care of everything (trying to make it easier for new comers and also for updates).
The language section is playing such havac

Can you post or PM me the error message ?

Did you change anything in the AdminCP for the chr-set ?
What char are being displayed in-correctly, the words from the lanuage packs or thread titles and names ?

On my test wiki, everythings showing, so i guess somewere along the way from the first 1.3 version, a database table of two have not gone in right. Will do some fault finding over the next few days, and try to rebuild the forum from scratch, even if i have to start again. This is the best Mediawiki forum around and one personally i do not want to do without

Your all fixed up, Krillmeed.
I donwloaded the skin file form here...
http://wiki.anotherwebcom.com/Category:Forum_Skin_Templates
Imported it to your site via the Forum >> Admin >> Skin Templates page and lost all the skin template (because of a bad edit i made in a file) fix the bad edit, FTPed the fixed file to your server, re-imported the skin template via ACP and everything looks to be working fine, forum names in the search along with the date thing you asked about in another thread.
Dont know why, but you had two skin-templates for everything, which should not be, its all fixed now.

But
Quote:Krillmeed Mar 5th 1:02 amI have always said, a computer program is only as good as its support. If it worked correctly to start with, then no support would be need
In time things will get smoother (we hope).
Tester, your good to go now also.
Posting a new download now.
