Here's the most recent Default Forum Skin Template - default 2.5.3 Download
Heres a test skin i was playing with - Avatar on Right
To change your forums skin:
Forum >> Admin >> Skin Templates
Then use the top box, ' Browser ' and select the file_name.xml, then ' Submit '.
To change back do the same thing and select the Default file.
In time this will change, there will be more options and hopefully become easier.
