Like the normal MediaWiki text editing box, the Offline Editor has all the standard options with one extra added (high-lighted in red). The high-lighed option will let you pick an image from your hard-drive, copy it to the programs image folder and then add the [[Image:pic_name.gif]] tag to your article.

A note about displaying images, period.
When you use the [[Image:pic_name.gif]] tag, the Offline Editor will check the programs Image folder to see if there is a pic in there to display. If there is an image, your image will apear, and if not you get "the red X".

Theres two options in the Program Settings window.

.CSS

If you download the .css file (/skins/'Custom_Skin'/main.css) from your wiki and save it to your hard-drive it can be used for displaying articles in the HTML window. If you do not select a file, the Offline Editor will use MediaWiki default css file.

By default the Offline Editor will use 300, change this to what ever you are using in your Wiki.

Export to XML

This will let you save your article to an XML file which can then be imported to your wiki via the Special:Import link.

This is the folder which the Offline Editor will use to display images from.
